Unfortunately, some have biographical about the Hornisten A. Corret said to themselves. Corret was 1st Hornist in Rouen of 1815 - 1862 at the grand Theatre. Perhaps it studied the horn in Paris before this time. Louis-François Dauprat dedicated its 5. and probably most virtuoso horn concert (ROM 155) to it. Unfortunately, it has burned in the archives of the theatre in Rouen 1876 and valuable pieces of evidence were destroyed (probably also biographical to A. Corret)?

Correts plants still are composed exclusively for the valve less nature horn.

• Fantasie for horn and the piano op.6 (at 1815)

He draws the only one into his Fantaisie pour le Cor avec Accompagement de Piano op.6 for horn and the piano with M. A. Corret.
The work was dedicated to Mr. E. Bazil, this one is described as Son Elève, that is its pupil. At this work this is, in an interesting way the first edition which appeared in the publishing house of one's own of Corret makes a note of the place of performance:

„Composée pour les Soirèes d`Hiver“

 Composes for the concerts in winter. These were perhaps regular small chamber music concerts in Rouen.

• Solo for horn and piano op.2  (1815)

In its Solo pour le Cor avec Accompagement de Piano op.2 for horn and the piano it still signed with A. Corret jeune around not with the musician L. Corret, to be (aîné) which gave a music scientific work out in Paris at the same time mixed up. This composition is dedicated a Mr. Dibon.
