for horn solo, 2 violins, viola, basso, 2 oboes and 2 horns

This is a new edition of one of the most famous horn concerti by Rosetti. The edition is based on the only historical source, the print of the publisher Spehr in Braunschweig 1790. The new edition is corrected according to the modern way of authentic editing. Mistakes, corrections and cuts according to former music views are reversed. The new edition shows the text (almost) in its original content. 

The unique print is transferred by only one piece which is kept by the Herrnhutgemeinde in Christiansfeld, to whom thanks are spoken this way.

Worth mentioning are the numeral parallels with horn concerto C 39 , Sieber 1786, new edition ROM 52.
