Concerto E Flat Major for Horn (Murray C 40)

-New Edition-

The presented concerto is a new edition. The first edition was published in 1971 by KaWe. Unfortunately, the sentence at that edition "arranged with free adaption..." has to be considered as totally true. Edmund Leloir, the editior, tried to smooth and change harmonical peculiarities even by own composition. This edition is now based on the two sets of parts of the copy from the estate Franz Zwierzina. It is kept at the University Library Augsburg HR III 4 ½ 4°277, collection of the Court Chapel Oettingen-Wallerstein. The new edition now illustrates the originality and neat harmonical work of Antonio Rosetti in the authentic way.
