| Fortunately this concerto can now be published with a
most probably autograph score. The manuscripts says the dediciation
"fait pour Messieurs Nagel & Zwierzina"
who were those virtuos horns players at the Court of Wallerstein. The
date of composition is corrected from October 1786 to March 1787 and the
place is said Wallerstein. The autograph contains many
dynamic and other inscriptions concerning the way of playing the music.
The difference between dot and ' (line?) sets the standards. This shows
that especially the masterly played nuances in Rosettis concertos make
them unique and worth both for playing and lisening. |
