10 Trios for 3 Horns op.30The
Trios are composed by the French F. Clapisson.
The name is completely unknown and is frequently mistaken for his son
Louis Clapisson (1808 -- 1866). The son was in Paris around 1830 pupil
of Reicha. He played in the opera o Paris as a 2nd violin and composed
numerous successful works. 1847 he became a knight of the legion of
honour and on August 26th, 1854 he was chosen into the Académie the
Beaux-Arts. From 1861 onwards Louis Clapisson taught harmony at the
Conservatoire in Paris.
