Louis Emmanuel Jadin was born in Versaille 21st September 1768. His father Jean B. Jadin played the violin in the court chapel of Versaille together with his brother Georges Jadin playing the bassoon. Louis Emmanual got his first music lesson by his father. He learnt to play the violin. He became music donzel of Ludwig XVI and was taught in piano by his brother. In 1789 he became second, in 1791 first Clavecinist in the Théâtre de Monsieur. One year later he joined the Garde Nationale being musician and composed numerous patriotic works. In 1802 he became teacher for piano at the Concervatoire in Paris as the successor of this brother. He was also orchestra leader at Théâtre Molière. During the restauration Louis E. Jadin was announced educator for the boys at the Chapelle Royale. He took leave in 1830 and lived near Monfort l'Amaury. He died in Paris 11th April 1853.

Jadin was one of the famous violin players in his time and was frequently sought after for chamber music piano player. Jadin left a considerable amount of operas, masses, songs, concertos and works for wind instruments as well as strings and of course piano music.

His "Simphonie Concertante" F Major appeared at the Parisian music publisher Jean Georges Sieber between 1803 and 1805. Jadin dedicated his work to "son Ami" Eller, apparently the clarinettist of the work. Further is noted down on the pressure, that the hornist Frederic Duvernoy (1765 -- 1836) (in the pressure Duvernois written) and the bassoonist Delcambre had performed this work.

The new edition also contains a transposed part of the C clarinet for a more common B clarinet.
