Heinrich  Simrock ( 1760 -18?)

Henry (Heinrich) Simrock was the brother of Nikolaus Simrock, a firm of music publishers which has been existing until today. Henry was born in Bonn about 1760 and learned playing the horn like is brother..

In Paris, he was employed as horn player and teacher at the Conservatoire. Furthermore, he represented the music publihers of his brother in France. Till 1802  Simrock had been owner of a music store in Paris. He belonged to the discoverers of Beethoven in France.
